Lightning Rugby Academy is a collaboration between St. Thomas Aquinas, Boca Raton, Cardinal Gibbons and Wellington Wizards HS rugby clubs. Our goal is to develop players and provide an opportunity to compete in regional and national competitions.
We welcome all Varsity and JV South Florida teams and players to join us as we compete at the USA Rugby Regional Cup Tournament (RCT's) at Life University in Marietta, Ga on June 15-18th 2017.
The RCT's is an All Star HS tournament designed to bring together the best teams in the South and compete at the highest level.
We will be taking a Varsity and JV Boys team to the tournament.The RCT is the only college showcase tournament in the South. Numerous college rugby coaches across the east coast will be in attendance scouting players for their programs.
Selectors from the USA SOUTH U19 team as well as the USA U20 Eagles will be there recruiting potential players.
