FishHawk Youth Football and Cheer Association (FYFCA) is a nonprofit organization made up solely of parent volunteers; as such, our success depends on YOU! Your family’s participation is conditional on contributing at least twelve (12) hours* of volunteer time for your first participant in the program, 6 hours for each additional participant, with a maximum of 24 hours per family to support the program. Based on the twelve hours, ten (10) of these hours would be reserved for regular season activities, and two (2) hours reserved for other FYFCA sponsored events such as Jamboree, playoff games, end of season party, etc.
· You may elect to opt out of volunteering your hours by paying $125.00 for your first child in the program, $75 for each additional child, with a maximum opt out fee of $250 per family. If you choose to opt out, you must notify us and pay by August 1, 2018.
· After August 1, the opt out fee increases to $175.00 per child, with a maximum of $350 per family.
· After the first game, the opt out fee will increase to $200 per athlete, with a maximum of $400 per family.
If you elect to volunteer your hours, you may sign up on a first come/first serve basis via the Wolfpack website as opportunities are posted. If the hours are not filled, you will be assigned your hours and/or billed for un-worked hours at the rate of $15.00 per hour not worked. You will not be scheduled to volunteer during your child’s game, but may be scheduled before or after your child’s games and/or on practice days. If you sign up to work, and no one arrives to work during that time, you will be billed $20.00 per occurrence. If you do not specify preferred volunteer positions, then the board reserves the right to assign opportunities according to the needs of the organization. If you do not pay to opt out or volunteer, you will forfeit your child’s returning player status for the following season.
