The DeKalb Yellow Jackets Youth Football and Cheerleading Association, provides structured sports activity to over four hundred boys and girls in the South DeKalb community. Through the teaching of football and cheerleading fundamentals, the  volunteer coaching staff aspire to instill and promote:
 1. Discipline and self-esteem in the players and cheerleaders with special emphasis on  academic excellence and self worth.
2. Cooperative learning through teamwork and encourage the principles of good sportsmanship.
3. The ability to make prudent choices and show respect for one another and authority.
4. To promote physical fitness for young boys and girls.
