The Rutherford Lacrosse Association was created in 2014 by two fathers who were looking to introduce the town of Rutherford, NJ to the fastest sport on two feet.  Seeing a need for an alternative to the traditional offerings, these men realized that baseball, basketball, and football should not be the only options for their children.  One day, after many conversations about their shared history, experience, and love of the game, they decided something needed to be done. And with no business knowledge but a dream and a shared vision, the RLA was formed.  We sincerely hope the people of Rutherford enjoy the sport as much as we do and help build the foundation of Lacrosse in Rutherford.
