The Recreational Program is a soccer program for all youth players. All In Futbol Club at Snellville supports US Youth Soccer’s teaching philosophy with respect to small-sided soccer in U5, U6, U7, U8, U10 and U12. This philosophy allows the game to be the teacher by maximizing each player’s touches on the ball and encourages all the players to develop their skills in all positions. Further, the philosophy discourages intense competition until the older age groups.

Our Recreational Program currently consists of players from the age of 3 through the age of 18. Please take note that there is no skill level requirement at any age; we will have children of all levels participating on each team in our program. We have developed a system that provides a fun and productive environment for players at all levels. Although our focus is predominantly on the enjoyment of playing the game, we would also like to utilize our time effectively with the children by teaching them as much as possible about the game and the skills needed to excel in the sport.

Youth ages 3-18 (U4 & U6 Coed Mini League, U8-U19 League)
NO tryouts and NO skill level requirements!!
Each U4-U19/20 team requires a volunteer parent coach and we are working towards a professional trainer to work with each age group once a week.
Practices are held during the week, and games are played only on weekends. (Heavy age group participation may require a few games on Sunday)

Academy

ACADEMY SOCCER

Academy Soccer is part of Select Soccer.

This FAQ is intended to be a brief introduction to Academy and Select soccer for parents and players who are unfamiliar with it.

1.   What is Select soccer?

Select soccer is more competitive than Recreational soccer. The training and coaching is carried out by licensed, professional soccer coaches. Compared to Recreational soccer, Select soccer requires a greater time and financial commitment from the parents and players and mainly involves games in and around the metro Atlanta area. Periodically, away games and tournaments can be in other parts of Georgia with some teams attending out of state tournaments.

2.   What age groups does Select soccer apply to?

Select is split into two age groupings ; Academy is from U9 to U12,. Athena (Girls) and Classic (Boys) is from U13 to U19. Academy game scores are not recorded, whereas Athena and Classic teams play for points and are involved in divisional play with promotion and relegation opportunities.

3.   Are the genders split?

Yes. The teams are split into boys and girls teams.

4.   How do I know which age group my son/daughter is in?

Age Groups are identified based on birth year. See Below (for 2019-2020 Age Group)

5. Is Select soccer that different from Recreational soccer?

Yes. Expectations for the players in Select soccer are much higher. There will be two 1 ½ hour practices per week, with one or two games per weekend. Higher level teams practice three times per week. In Recreational soccer, players are placed on a team on a first come first served basis, regardless of ability level. Select players are selected through tryouts and ability.

6.   When are Try Outs?

Try Out dates are posted on this website and are held around the end of May for Academy and in early June for Athena and Classic.

7.   How long is the commitment for?

Players are registered through Georgia Soccer to play for their club for one year. The soccer year is split into two seasons; The Fall season, which runs from August to late November/early December and the Spring season which runs from February to May. If a player leaves their team part way through the calendar year, the full fee must still be paid before a release is given. The expectation is that soccer is the player’s primary sport and the commitment is for the full year.

8.   How many teams are there in each age group?

It varies between age groups, but usually there will be between one to three teams per gender age group.

9.   What are the team levels in an age group?

Age groups are divided up into A, B, & C level teams, with the A level being the top team. At All In FC Snellville, teams are given names Barca, Real, and Athletico.

10.   Can a player move between teams?

Yes. The coaching staff will make this decision. In the Academy, players can be moved up or down, depending on their ability level, their rate of development and their commitment level. In Athena and Classic, the structure is more rigid and a player does not usually move down during the calendar soccer year. However, a player is allowed one transfer per year and could move down onto a lower level team, if the move is supported by the coaching staff. Players on a lower level team can ‘club pass’ up to a higher level team, for one or more games, if the coaches agree.

11.   Apart from regular season games, will the players go to tournaments?

Yes. Teams are required to do at least one pre season and one post season tournament each season. So with two seasons, this means a minimum of four tournaments per calendar year. Some higher level teams attend more than four tournaments. If a player is unable to attend a tournament the are still responsible for their portion of the tournament fees.

12.   What is the financial cost of being on a Select team for a year?

It varies, depending on age group and team level and the number of tournaments that the team goes to.

U9-U14, : $1000 per year

U15-U19, : $500 for Fall Season only

This fee covers (1) practice jerseys, field usage, insurance, practices, professional coaches and referees, during the regular season as well as a mandatory team camp.

In addition, there is the uniform cost . The manufacturers change uniform designs every three years. Also, cleats or turf shoes can be worn for practices and games. Turf shoes are around $50 and cleats are between $50 to $200.

After Try Outs, all Select players are required to attend the August Team Camp. This team camp is three hours per day for five days, and the cost is included in your fees.

13.   If my player cannot attend a particular tournament, do we still have to pay?

Yes. It is club policy that the tournament fees and expenses are divided equally between all rostered players for that team, regardless of whether the player can make the tournament or not.

14.   How much playing time will my son/daughter get?

The guideline is at least the equivalent of half of the game. Playing time will be affected by performance, ability, effort and commitment, both at practice and in games. This is a coaching staff decision.

15.   Are players expected to attend every practice and every game?

Yes. If a player cannot make a practice or a game, the coach must be notified with as much advance notice as possible. Whilst it is expected that a player will be at each practice and game, it is accepted that sickness and special occasions may mean a player misses an occasional practice or game.

16.   Are there written codes of conduct for players and parents?

Yes. AIFCS has written codes of conduct for players and parents.

Player and Parent Code of Conduct must be signed at the start of each season and will be given to families by their team manager.

17. Can anyone find out information about our child and their team?Child safety is a paramount concern to All In Futbol Club at Snellville. With that in mind, our policy prohibits staff members from communicating specific information about a child or team to any individual not listed in the child’s registration information. We appreciate your understanding.

Junior Academy

All-In FC Snellville understands that there are many talented U8 (6- and 7-year-old) players who would benefit from a more focused soccer environment, in which the player will be challenged while learning and playing with like-minded players. Our Junior Academy program provides the player the opportunity to get a head start on becoming an Academy soccer player.

The program focuses on the technical side of the game. Small sided games and individual skills will help the players to become comfortable and confident on the ball. Games will be played both in-house and against other local clubs with the emphasis being on development, not outcome.

Our Licensed Staff Coaches will not only educate the players about the game, but give players and parents a view of the skills and techniques necessary for long-term development. Training will consist of dribbling, receiving, passing, ball striking, possession and principles of attacking and defending in a 1v1 and 2v2 situations, as well as body coordination and confidence.

Junior Academy teams will train twice weekly for 1.5 hours. Games will be played on Saturdays and occasionally Sundays as well.
