SOUTHEAST REGION CHAMPIONS!

Fleet Park completed an unbeaten run through the Southeast Region Tournament today with a 6-1 victory over North Springs LL, the Florida State Champions. Connor Kendrick broke open a tense 1-1 deadlock in the top of the 6th inning with a grand slam home run that provided the winning margin. The team now goes to Easley, South Carolina for the Senior League WORLD SERIES which begins this weekend. It's a 12-team tournament, and Fleet Park will play in the first game - Saturday, July 30 at 10am - against the West Region Champs (Oakland LL from Oakland, California or Central East Maui Little League from Wailuku, Hawaii. All World Series games will be covered by ESPN - the preliminary games will be on their ESPN+ platform and Championship on ESPN TV on Saturday, August 6. Congratulations to everyone on the team, and good luck in South Carolina!!!
