North Pinellas Panthers is an Age-Based Pop Warner Organization and we are excited to announce that we will be single age this season. Teams are determined by the age of the players- currently an estimated 75% to 80% of youth football nationally follows an age-based system.  Pop Warner places value on safety measures that make a difference. That’s why we have also done things in football like reduce contact to 25% of practice time, eliminate kickoffs for our youngest divisions and require that any player who suffers a suspected head injury receive medical clearance from a concussion specialist before returning to play.

Our 6U team is considered Competitive this year and will crown a conference champion!

All other Levels are Competitive, meaning the Season finishes with Conference Playoffs and the opportunity to advance to Regional and National Championships.

*A child's age on July 31, 2024 is his/her age for the season.

Football Season starts August 1st and runs through the beginning of November to the middle of December depending on how far the teams advance in the Conference Playoffs. The Season includes Football Games every Saturday against other Tampa Bay Foundation for Youth Development (FYD) Teams.

There are typically 3-4 nights of practice each week. Our Competitive Teams have a chance of advancement to playoffs. All Competitive Teams must be available to participate the week of Thanksgiving, which is Regional Playoffs and possibly the first week of December for Pop Warner National Championships.  

We are based out of Oldsmar and practice at The Oldsmar Sports Complex (Canal Park).

Our Coaches are trained through Pop Warner, the largest youth football organization in the United States. We have also partnered with USA Football which is the National governing body for amateur American football in the United States. Our players wellbeing, development and scholastics are our top priority. Of course, having fun is so important too! We have had many Conference Champions, Regional Champions and look forward to Our First National Championship! Go Panthers!

The Registrar will collect the following before the 2023 Season begins:
Full Year Report Card (Three copies please)
Original Birth Certificate plus one copy (Original will be returned.)
*Only new players/cheerleaders will need to provide Original Birth Certificates
2023 Pop Warner Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form
2023 Pop Warner Physical Fitness and Medical History From
