Amador East's and Amador West's boards both voted to combined for both the 12U and 11U All-Star levels. In Amador West it is our goal to have more age levels compete and be more competitive in the tournament. We are not combining in 14U or 10U.

We are conducting the 12U and 11U tryouts on Saturday May 17th beginning at 5pm. The 10U and 14U will be on Sunday May 18th beginning at 8:30am. The goal with regard to the tryouts is to let the manager see all, All-Star level players, at one place and select the best players to represent our leagues. 

We have agreed that Amador East will manage the 12U team and AW will manage the 11U team. Each coaching staff will have at least one member of their choosing from the other league. The teams will be comprised of 6 players from each league but the manager will have the option to draft 7 and 5 from either league if he so chooses. Uniforms are designed with input from both leagues. 

When we voted to combine with Amador East, for this season we in effect agreed to rewrite our procedures together with Amador East. These decisions were made in the interest of improving our All-Star selection process and the tournament experience for our players.
