Beginner Ball and U8 Boys Format Change

The WYO Board has decided this year in order to ready players for the next level, the beginner ball and U8 boys will be working on the necessary skills and fundamentals once a week and play games against other WYO teams in their division.

This year our beginner ball boys teams will have joint practice throughout the season. They will play games only against other Woodmore teams and will work on drills before their games. The U8 boys are going to follow the same format. Players will still get uniforms and be drafted onto teams. We hope that this better prepares our kids for the future by developing fundamental skills while still allowing them to have fun playing the other Woodmore teams in a game setting.
