Raider Cheer has a long standing tradition in Canastota. Canastota Pop Warner prepares our student-athletes to be successful in anything they do by teaching leadership, dedication, work ethic and other life skills through the sideline cheer and competition cheer.

Again this year, we are offering COMPETITION CHEER ONLY at the upper (Ages 7 and up) levels of Cheer. These athletes will sideline cheer at all games and will compete at local competitions with the chance for advancement through placement to other competitions. Our youngest and beginners group (5-6 years old) will be Sideline Cheer and will be able to compete at the local competition level but will not advance beyond that.

Canastota Pop Warner cheer has been a very successful program with multiple accolades and accomplishments due in part to the dedication of its volunteer coaches. We strive to reach the pinnacle of competition cheer by getting to National competition which is held in Disney. Through the hard work of these athletes and coaches we hope this year is our year. Flag football is an introductory level of Pop Warner Football that is meant to encourage a love of the game at the youngest age. It is non-contact and non-competitive. (No Score is kept) We encourage parents and guardians to involve themselves as much as possible in order to keep the Canastota program headed towards a bright future.

Raider Football has a long standing tradition in Canastota. Canastota Pop Warner prepares our student-athletes to be successful in anything they do by teaching leadership, dedication, work ethic and other life skills through the game of football. Levels of play and team organization will be based on age and grade level. We hope to accomplish a bond and brotherhood for the athletes to maintain all the way through high school sports by playing with those closest in age and grade level. All team appointments will be at the discretion of the Board of Directors and the Football Coordinator in order to ensure the most competitive balance of all team levels.
