At Prince George’s Storm, we are committed to creating a culture where there are no volunteers, rather a team of servants. People who volunteer do it on their own time when they have it to spare. Servants, however, are people who choose to serve with their whole selves and do it the best way they can. This kind of service demands commitment and a mentality to serve our children, their families, and the community. As leaders, we will continue to raise the bar and expectation levels to a place that demands excellence of those who serve in our program. During his earthly ministry, Jesus called people to be servants. We invite you to join our team as the service opportunities are numerous, and the rewards are even greater.
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10: 43-45)
