Swimming

Learning how to swim is a must if you live in Michigan, we are surrounded by water!  These lessons are based on ability and will cover everything from going underwater for the first time to endurance swimming. Participants need to be at least 4 years old. A parent/guardian must remain on site during lesson.

Level I (Bluegill) Learn to feel comfortable in the water.  Must be able to hold themselves up along the edge of the pool to participate.  Must be at least 4 years old.

Water Exploration

11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Level II (Trout)    Fundamental skills of floating without support and recovering to a vertical position.  Basic self help and rescue skills.

Primary Skills

10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Level III (Bass)   Coordination of front and back crawl, introducing the elementary backstroke, treading water, and safe diving rules.

Stroke Readiness

9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Sessions will run Monday through Thursday for two weeks at Tower Marine. Cost…………………………. $50.
