Cheerleading 2024

Cheer our Rocket Football teams on to victory! Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and be part of one of the best squads in the league. Practices will be twice a week in the evenings and games will be on Saturdays during September and October. Deadline is June 30th

Rocket Football Grades 5 & 6 2024

Rocket Football - Grades 5&6 Rocket Football is a developmental program that teaches young athletes the techniques, positions, rules and skills used in the game of tackle football. Saugatuck plays in the West Michigan Junior Football League and plays games on Saturdays with other local communities in West Michigan. The season runs August through October.  Saugatuck Community Recreation provides free rental equipment included in the registration cost. Players will be fitted in order of when full payment is received. First come, first serve.  Registration deadline is June 30th.

Grades 5 and 6 will be TACKLE FOOTBALL = $60
First practice will be the week of August 12th (no contact/conditioning)
Teams generally practice: Mon, Tues and Thurs. 6pm till 7:30pm

Games will be on Saturday Mornings: September 97- October 26

This flag football league is for children grades 1&2.  Players will learn the fundamentals of football along with sportsmanship. No equipment needed. Deadline is June 30th 2024 Cost .$40.

Games will be on Thursday nights and Saturday Mornings: September 97- October 26

Trailblazer Summer Youth Sport Camps 2024

Our summer youth sports camps are under the direction of our varsity sports programs. Participants will work with the varsity coaching staff and players/athletes. This is a great way to stay sharp during the summer months and learn new drills and techniques to improve your game.
