About Us

Merced Soccer Academy is home to the Merced Sounders FC, San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy and the City of Merced Youth Indoor Soccer Program.  We're a non-profit organization devoted to helping the youth of our area to achieve their full potential. Through sports they learn dedication, leadership and the value of training practice, cooperation, and life lessons that they might not otherwise experience.  The Merced Soccer Academy is associated with the Seattle Sounders FC, a Major League Soccer team, who provides an integrated curriculum and a direct pipeline for players into Sounders Academy.
Merced Soccer Academy is also a U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

Dream Big - More Than Just Soccer

Focus - Practice

Focus on what you can control: Youth sports should help kids learn that all they can do is focus on their effort, and not the outcome. They should focus on what they can control, not what is out of their control.  Practice Makes…Better: It’s not about being perfect. It’s about getting better and improving. One of the life lessons we hope our players learn through sports is that their effort will be rewarded.
