Note from Pee Wee Coordinator

Thank you for your interest in Pee Wee (aka coach pitch) Little League baseball! Here are some answers to common questions.

-You may request your child be on the same Pee Wee team as a friend by indicating this during the Online registration. We will try to honor ONLY ONE REQUEST per child but can’t make guarantees.

-Pee Wee teams usually are created around end of March/beginning of April. We also try to form teams based upon elementary school so that more kids can play with kids they are familiar with.

-Pee Wee teams start practice in early April (as long as the weather cooperates) and play games until early June.

-The first few weeks of the season are two practices during the week (evenings). Then it moves to one game during the week, one practice during the week, and a game. We try never to do anything Friday evenings or Sundays.

-All coaches are volunteers (as is all of State College Little League) so if you are interested, please indicate that when you register your child.

-Kids should have their own baseball glove. The league has bats and batting helmets. Each child gets a team t-shirt and hat. Cleats and baseball pants are optional but I recommend simply because the field dirt is a nightmare to get cleaned out of regular sneakers and pants.
