About Majors

Gender: Boys and Girls

League Ages: 10-12 (see league age calculator at the bottom of this page)

League ages 10-11 must tryout.
All league age 12 players and returning Majors players will be evaluated, but will automatically play at the Majors level. 

* All non-returning majors players are strongly encouraged to attend evaluations to ensure well balanced teams. 

Team Selection
Majors and Minors teams for both Softball and Baseball are selected after tryouts/evaluations, which are typically held in the fall or spring.  After these evaluations players are selected by the coaches based on skill level and the needs of the team.  As a league, we cannot place children on certain teams because their friends are on that team or to help out with carpooling issues.  Though this would be wonderful, it is not realistic or practical at this level.
