2026 Fall Softball

Chatham County Little League has divisions of play for ALL skill levels ages 2-16. For fall season, all softball games will be at Ambuc Park. Practices will be scheduled by coaches at Ambuc Park or Brooks Park.

Games start week of September 8th

All divisions will play 1 game per week and have 1 practice per week once games start.

Games will be scheduled once final number of teams is determined. Games will be on weekdays.

**NEW THIS SEASON:

Our Minors Division (ages 9-10) will play a player pitch/coach pitch hybrid. We are introducing this format to help players gain pitching experience earlier to help with the transition to Majors and middle school ball. This developmental approach will help strengthen our program and better prepare players for future competition.

August 5th and August 8th - time and field details to come.

ONLY PLAYERS IN FARM CLUB (COACH PITCH) AND ABOVE NEED TO ATTEND EVALUATIONS

First week for practices

August 17th

Playoffs will the week week after the regular season ends and conclude by the beginning of November.

All schedules are subject to change due to weather related cancelations.

Volunteers are VERY important to the success of our season and we allow coaches to pick which days they practice to the best of our ability. WE DO NOT allow any movement for players among teams to fit a players schedule or for teammate requests. As you can imagine there would just be endless requests for this and since we cant make them all happen its the best experience for all involved to not allow any.

We do not allow any coach requests, ride share requests or any other requests for preferential team placement outside of the draft. This keeps parity in our league and ensures EVERY child receives the same treatment and answers to such requests.
