Supporting the special needs community since 1989. Our program offers an adaptive baseball program for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.  We teach baseball fundamentals - throwing, catching, hitting, base running and field positioning - and provide instructional opportunities appropriate to the physical and mental limitation of each player.  Players with supportive devices (walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc...) are all made to feel at ease and welcome on the field.  A supportive, non-competitive environment is our priority.  The all-inclusive atmosphere of Frederick Challenger enables all who participate to enjoy the experience of a team athletic activity without limitation.
