The 18th Annual Shamrock Shootout

It's time to kick off our 2024 spring season with FUN, competitive lacrosse from our area!

Information and Rules

Girls REC Divisions:

Junior (ages 13-14), A, B and C
Midget (ages 11-12), A, B and C
Lightning (ages 9-10), A, B and C
Tyker (ages 7-8) A, B, and C

FORMAT: Competitive, non-trophy format within each bracket. 3 games played in accordance with current 2022-2023 MYLA rules with the following modifications: two, 20-minute halves with a 5 minute half time; all divisions will play 12 v. 12 with the exception of the Tyker Rec group who will play 8 v. 8. All current rule changes will be in place.

**Any bracket with 4 or less teams will be combined with the next division up. Rules will align with the lowest divison (ex: if A/B combined, then you play B rules.) **

REGISTRATION FEE: $225 per team – ref fees not included but prorated due to shorter games. Rosters are not required. Referee fees are listed below:

 Tyker $35/game
Lightning $50/ref
Middie & Junior $50/ref

Completed Registration forms and Checks are due NO LATER THAN March 8, 2023. We will accept indications of interest but your team will not be officially registered until the check and form are received.

REFEREES: MYLA refs will be used and must be paid on site before each game. Referee fees are in line with MYLA fees but are prorated for shortened games. Registration fees will not be refunded if the team is unable to play, unless a substitute team is available from the wait list. If the tournament is cancelled before the first game is played for any reason, i.e. unplayable fields, the fees will be refunded, less an $85 administration cost per team. If the tournament is shortened in part for any reason, including inclement weather or any “Act of God,” no refunds will be given. The Tournament Committee, the Perry Hall Lacrosse Program, and the Perry Hall Recreation & Parks are not responsible for any expenses incurred by any team if the tournament is cancelled in whole or in part. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to decide on all matters regarding the operation of the tournament and its judgment is final.


Age Determination for Rec: A player’s age prior to September 1 of the coming season is the age in which the player shall play. (E.g., a player in the Junior 13-14 age group may not turn 15 prior to January 1 of the current season). Please circle the appropriate level of competition on the registration form. Rec Teams that are registering in any Division and have a travel team made up of in-house players must register under the A level of competition. Players at the Junior level may not have played for a high school JV or Varsity team. Players must be registered with your program. A, B, & C divisions may be combined based on registration numbers. We will do our best to make sure games are as competitive as possible for all.

LOCATION: All games will be played in Eastern Baltimore County.
