Beginning with the 2013 season, North Central Little League announced a community partnership with the members of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority of Moravian College. The girls were already the park sponsor of Bernie Fritz Park, the adjacent playground area to our fields.

TJ Herstich, President at the time, made contact with the sorority and asked if they would like to include NCLL as part of their sponsorship. After that initial meeting the sorority had a chapter meeting and unanimously decided to “adopt” NCLL as part of their sponsorship – great news for our program!

The girls did not wait to give much needed help to our little league. Last December they took time out of studying for final exams to help us during the first week of our tree sale fundraiser. Then, on our first field day this year the girls came in mass and did an outstanding job helping us to prepare for the upcoming season – raking, weeding, hanging signs, and providing an excited presence of positive energy to our day.

We look forward to having them be part of our opening day ceremonies and stopping by to catch some games. We would like to thank all the girls of Sigma Sigma Sigma for all their help and support this season and welcome them to the North Central Little League family.
