Fairfield Cougars Baseball was developed in November of 2008 to provide an opportunity for local youth players to excel at the game of baseball with an emphasis on personal growth, mental, and physical development. Most importantly, our players will enjoy their baseball experience that ultimately assists them in growing to become responsible, productive, respectful young adults. What is unique about Cougars baseball is our goal and focus on lifelong learning, Winning is the result- not the emphasis.  Cougars believe in the “Fairfield First” philosophy when selecting teams and players for our program to continue to develop youth to Fairfield High School ball players. The Cougars travel teams and players are members of the USSSA- United States Specialty Sport Association. We compete with other travel teams associated with USSSA in Southeast Iowa.  The teams also participate in the State Tournament for our region.  Cougars is a 501c(3) charitable organization.
