TWO FREE Mini Camps!

Our FREE mini camps provide an opportunity for the kids to get out on the field again, play with their friends, meet the coaches, and learn some basic football skills. Our camps teach the techniques and skills of contact football without player-on-player contact. During the first part of the camp, players will rotate through coach-led stations like running back skills, defensive back skills, agility and blocking. The second part of the camp is a guided lesson on proper contact and wrap-up techniques. Throughout the camp, we strive to lift up the players confidence and get them excited about the upcoming season!

The first mini camp will be Saturday 8/17.
The first mini camp is without equipment.

The second mini camp will be Saturday 8/24.
During the second mini camp, equipment is encouraged but not required.

The mini camps are open to all players! If your player is not yet registered, you will need to sign a few forms before they can participate. Players can bring their friends!

MINI CAMP PREPARATION 

 
Please make sure you start today hydrating your child!  No sodas, caffeine, etc.  Have your child start drinking plenty of water from now until Saturday to ensure they are well hydrated! Sunscreen is also a good idea to put on your child before they come to the camp! If you will be dropping off your child, we will need you to sign a waiver form!  Once you sign your player into the camp and fill out the form, you may go.  Please be back by 12:00 pm to ensure you are there at the time the camp ends.  

EQUIPMENT RENTAL


We will have a fitting station for equipment rentals at the mini camps for anyone who was not able to get their equipment at the earlier fitting. If you are renting equipment and have already paid online, please remember to bring the personal check for the deposit that we staple to your rental form.  We DO NOT cash the DEPOSIT check, unless your equipment is not returned at the end of the season. If you have not paid for the equipment rental then you must bring the payment, AND the DEPOSIT CHECK. 

Please understand that we will NOT issue equipment without the payment and deposit check.  We have stapled cash to the rental form, so if you don't have a check, you must bring cash.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

If you have your own equipment or have already picked up your rental equipment, your child should wear his helmet and shoulder pads to the camp with a practice jersey. This will help the players get used to the equipment and we will be able to double check the fit. All players should also wear a mouth guard so they can start getting used to wearing that. If you do not have equipment yet, please have your child wear shorts, t-shirt, and running shoes. Cleats are great if you already have them. If you bring a drink for your child, it must be WATER only!  No food or other drinks are allowed on the turf field.  Parents are welcome to have drinks, etc. in the stands only. 

We are looking forward to an amazing season, and can't wait to kick it off this weekend with our mini-camp! If you know anyone interested in joining Extreme they are welcome to come out and try the camp with your child!  There will be plenty of people to answer any questions that they might have about Extreme Flag Football!
