Danville Junior Football and Cheer(DJFL) is a non-profit organization that strives to provide the best youth football and cheer programs for the children in our community.  Our goal is to educate and coach our youth participants how to safely play the sport of football.  It is through this education and opportunity to compete with fellow classmates that we hope to foster a love for football.

Our league provides tackle football and cheer that is broken down to 4 age groups:

           1.   Grades K-1
           2.   Grades 2-3
           3.   Grades 4-5
           4.   Grades 6.

Our season starts in early July and ends in early October.  The regular season and championship games will be completed before the scheduled fall break for our school system.  We participate in the Sagamore Youth Football League which is made up of some of the same schools that participate in the conference with Danville Community High School.  Since we are playing teams from other school corporations, there will be some travel during the season for our Minor, Major, and 6th grade teams.  Kindergarten and 1st grade participants will not travel and will only play other Danville teams.  Games are normally played on Saturday mornings, however there may be a few week night games as well.
