2026 Cinnaminson Youth Tackle Football

Program Overview:
Cinnaminson Athletic Association is a non-profit program. All of the coaches are volunteers. The registration fee pays for equipment, insurance, officials, field use and custodians for home games. We will have formal fund raisers during the season with which will really need your participation and support.  CAA Football plays in the South Jersey Independent Youth Football Association, which includes the following divisions:

U6 (up to 6 years of age, over 75 lb can play tackle to tackle)
U8 (up to 8 years of age, over 95 lb can play tackle to tackle)
U10 (up to 10 years of age, over 110 lb can play tackle to tackle)
U12 (up to 12 years of age, over 125 lb can play tackle to tackle)
Junior High (up to 8th grade)
 
 
Practices:
Practices begin in early August with each team likely to practice 3 to 4 evenings per week during August and 3 evenings per week during the season. Generally no weekend practices are scheduled. Practice schedules are at the discretion of each head coach and will be held in accordance with CDC and state guidelines.


 Games:
 Games will be held on Saturday or Sunday (weather permitting) and are at the discretion of the host team. We will typically host 4 home games a season which are played at the Cinnaminson High School Field. Away games involve travel and parents/guardians are responsible for transporting their children to the away games.

2026 Cinnaminson Youth Cheerleading Association

Welcome to the 2026 Youth Cheerleading Program!
Cheerleading is a sport in which each member of the squad holds an important role. The spotlight is shone on all cheerleaders, helping to foster self-esteem. Cheer is a team activity, giving our youth the skills they need to work together safely, build confidence, and foster personal relationships. Each cheerleader is expected to learn and practice chants, as well as a dance routine, show off their stunting and tumbling talents, and of course... have fun! All levels welcome in cheer.
 
Our season begins early August with practices and runs through mid December. Football games are mainly on Saturdays starting the week of September 21st. (Please note that football does not release the game schedule dates until the end of August, or early September.) We also plan to have a stunting clinic for our squads to learn the basics and progress their knowledge of stunting – the date will be Saturday, September 12th from 2-4pm. And there will be a routine cleanup Sunday, October 18th from 2-4pm.
 
We compete! Although we are not All-Star, we believe in our squads and their abilities to perform against the best. There are 3-4 anticipated and tentative competition dates: Sunday, November 1st, Sunday November 8th, Sunday November 22nd and Sunday, December 6th. Please, please, please write these dates down, even if they are subject to change. More information will be given once squad sizes are determined after registration. There may also be performances that pop up throughout this multi-season sport, such as the annual town tree lighting, Winterfest, and a banquet.
 
We plan to host fundraising events to offset prices of added costs accrued for props or entrance fees. You will receive a uniform, bows, t-shirt, and poms. Any further accessories and fees will be addressed during the season. All are dependent on squad formations, individual coaches, and squads. Younger athletes will need white sneakers; older athletes will be required to get white cheer-specific sneakers.
 
We will be holding uniform try-on dates. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, July 18th from 10-12pm, as well as Monday, July 20th from 5-7pm to meet at the Cinnaminson Community Center, 9 Manor Rd.
 
Cheerleading is for students entering kindergarten through eighth grade at the start of the 2026 school year. (Please register your child for the grade they will be starting in September.)
  • Practice times will be held at the discretion of the coach. These practices are twice a week between 1-1.5 hours. More can be added if needed for showcases and game prep.
  • Games are normally from Saturday mornings to mid-day.
  • This year's registration is $210, however, if you volunteer as a coach, you will save $25. 
  • There will be a 10% (about $21) discount for siblings.
  • Cut-offs for registration will be June 30th to give ample time for uniform try-on, ordering, and shipment. Late fee available up until July 13th.
  • We are asking parents to be available for one home football game to "work" the food stand or help with a fundraising event throughout the season.
