Junior League Baseball Division (Ages 13-14)

The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 12-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Modified diamond dimensions may be used during the regular season.  This division is divided into two subdivisions within District 1, North (Redding to Yreka), and South (Below Redding to Tehama) for the purpose of interleagueing games.  Regular Season for Juniors will consist of 16-18 games begining April 26 and concluding June 14 to be followed by the District All Star Tournament at the end of June.
 
The local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of 13-14-year-olds from within this division (and/or from within the Senior League Division), and the team may enter the International Tournament.  The All Star teams consist of 12-14 players slected.  
 
The culmination of the International Tournament is the Junior League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International.
 
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this teenage division of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Senior League Baseball Division (Ages 14-16)

The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 14-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.  The local leagues will interleague with teams throughout District 1 (Yreka to S. Tehama). Regular Season for SEniors will consist of 16-18 games begining May 3rd and concluding June 21st to be followed by the District All Star Tournament at the end of June.
 
The local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of 14-16-year-olds from within this division (and/or from within the Junior League or Big League divisions), and the team may enter the International Tournament.

Big League Baseball Division (Ages 16-18)

The Big League Baseball Division is for boys and girls ages 16-18, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.  The Teams are District 1 teams, not local little league teams.  Teams will interleague with nearby districts (Yreka to S. Tehama). Regular Season for Big league will consist of 15-18 games begining May 24th and concluding July 12.  To be followed by the Section All Star Tournament scheduled in the middle of July.
