DRALL’S CONCESSION STAND INFORMATION
Thank you very much for volunteering for a shift at one of DRALL’s Concession Stands. Concession income is essential in helping to offset the costs of operating Del Rey American Little League. DRALL operates entirely by members fees, sponsors, and concession stand revenue. Without concession stand revenue, the league would either not exist or would be too expensive for the average person to join.
To ensure that each shift runs smoothly, concession stand volunteers and substitutes are encouraged to review the Concession Stand Policy / Procedure manual, which is located inside each Concession Stand, prior to the start of their shift.
NOTIFY THE CONCESSIONS MANAGER IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY PROBLEMS OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
➢ Only Board personnel and concession stand shift workers are permitted in the concession stand at any time. Please arrange for the care of your minor children (under age 18) prior to your shift, as they are NOT allowed in the concession stand. There are no exceptions.
➢ The “home” team manager is responsible for opening the concession stand and the “visiting” team manager is responsible for locking up the concession stand.
➢When a shift is cancelled due to the weather or some other event, the Team Parent Coordinator(s) will contact you with the rescheduled shift’s day/time/location.
➢No-shows for a scheduled shift will result in that family’s concession stand deposit check being cashed.
➢ Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are located in each concession stand. Please locate them upon your arrival.
NO FREE FOOD
➢Shift workers and subs (including their family/friends) must pay for any concession stand food/drinks they consume during their shift.
➢ Umpires may receive complementary water for the game they are umpiring in.
CONCESSION STAND SUBSTITUTES (SUBS)
➢Please contact the Concessions Manager should you wish to hire a substitute worker for your shift. Substitute workers are not guaranteed unless DRALL’s buyout option is exercised before the season starts.
GRILL SAFETY – AMERICAN FIELD
➢ For safety reasons, the only person standing by the grill should be the person grilling.
➢Children cannot be around or near the grill area, including anywhere on the wooden decking surrounding the grill.
