The Pre-Season Prep Training program is designed for Middle School, JV and Varsity High School and College athletes for their upcoming school season.  The sessions will challenge the athletes and increase their confidence.  These intense training sessions will be competitive and include testing in the areas of agility, strength, and endurance to allow for players to measure their progression throughout the summer (Examples of possible testing includes - Arrowhead Agility, Cooper, YoYo, Beep, etc).  We will set baselines at the start of the program.  The athletes will be segmented appropriately for maximum training gain and will receive critical and encouraging feedback and guidance.  Each player can work at their own ability but yes we will challenge players and help them push for increased gain.

 

This has been a very successful and popular program.  It instills discipline and allows an athlete to commit to a program that provides consistent training all summer.  Get your training done in the morning and have the rest of the day to do whatever else you need to do.

 

With it being four days a week and all summer we understand athletes may miss for other summer activities and vacation.  Some players attend all four days each week and some just two depending on their schedule.  We are happy to provide info on what we did if you will miss some weekly sessions.  With a couple of weeks notice, we are happy to provide any athlete some ideas for training to maintain their level of fitness while also enjoying their time away on vacation.

Players should bring water and also have cleats and running shoes
 
Please make sure all athletes are hydrating daily and also eating properly
 
We will train in the rain
 
Any cancellation will be posted on our website where you can check the Field Status on the Home page.  If SYS Memorial Soccer Fields are closed then the training session is cancelled.
