Welcome to the 2019-2020 Basketball Season. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Please follow the orange "Basketball Registration" link on the home page to register your son or daughter.
Our Basketball Program will consist of the following age groups this year:
In-House Co-Ed Clinic (Kindergarten,1st and "First Timers" in 2nd Grade), 2nd/3rd Grade Boys and Girls Community Programs, and our Competitive County Programs for advanced 3rd Grade (8U) thru 9th Grade (14U) boys and girls.
The number of total teams we assemble will be based on number of registrations, practice facilities and head coach availability.
We are excited about the direction our GHAA Hoops program continues to head…our program has seen unprecedented numbers and I am very proud of the advancement in basketball skills I’ve seen in our local community.
As always, we continue our drive to provide our youth with opportunities to excel on the basketball court. To that end, here a few things you should continue to expect as we kick-off the 2019-2020 season:
1. We are going to do our best to build a community that is passionate about the game of basketball. To do that, we have to first and foremost get our kids to love playing the game.
2. We are going to be consistent in our teaching of the fundamentals of the game. Meaning as our kids move from one age group to the next...the same principles and fundamentals will be taught. The only thing that will change is our level of expectations!
3. We are going to push them. We expect our kids to be very "coachable"...and if they are, they will exceed even their own expectations. And by "coachable" I mean listening with eyes and ears; paying attention to what is being taught; and most importantly...giving maximum effort the entire time we are together.
4. We will be competitive! Our teams may not start the season with all of the skills necessary to win. But soon enough, our kids will understand the type of skills and effort that are required to be champions and we will ensure they get it.

For our competitive county programs we hope to organize some open gym / evaluations in October. Official practices will begin in November with games starting in early December and ending in February.
Cost for participation is $165/player for the County League Teams, $100/player for our Community Leagues, and $80 for our In-House Clinic. Check the "eligibility" link to see what age group your son or daughter fits in. If you have multiple kids in the basketball program, there is a $25 discount for the second and subsequent kids.
