Hull Tee ball is played on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 - 7 pm at Jones Park in Kenberma, running from July 9 through August 13. Our Awards Cookout will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 6 pm at Jones Park. After food, trophies and photo opportunities, the Hull Family Network will host a musical sing-a-long with Big Ryan starting at 6:30 pm at Jones Park.
Our registration fee remains $40 per player (with a $5 discount for additional siblings) for the fourth year in a row.
Each child needs a glove. All other equipment is provided by the league.
Hull Tee Ball is a great way to introduce 3 to boys and girls to organized sports. The #1 goal is to have fun, and the children develop some skills along the way. Practice time before games will focus on throwing, batting and baserunning. Catching and fielding skills will also be introduced. During games, every player will bat and score each inning (the last batter hits a "grand slam"). The defense will field the ball and throw it back to the opposing team's coach.
We are constantly improving the experience for our children and families. Last year, we have transitioned a new free website powered by Blue Sombrero, a subsidiary of Dick's Sporting Goods. The registration and payment systems are much more automated, and will significantly reduce the burden on our all volunteer staff. We provide a "deluxe washroom" at Jones Park. We utilize a robocall service to get the word out about weather-related cancellations. Our new website will also allow us to send text blasts about weather-related cancellations. Hull Tee Ball has become a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, and we work hard to keep our costs and fees as low as possible.
