East Carolina Youth Football & Cheer League is a proud member of the American Youth Football and Cheer League. We are a competitive "Travel" league comprised of associations located in Eastern North Carolina. We welcome New (or) existing associations to become apart of our ECYFL and AYFL family.  Associations seeking to become a member of ECYFL must provide and adhere to the following requirements:

• Must be in good standing (when coming from an existing league)
• Must present Member ship letter request to [email protected]
• New associations shall enter a probation period of not less than one year prior to receiving full membership and voting rights on the board
• New members are required to pay $500 membership fee upon acceptance into ECYFL. (Fee may be waived by Commissioner)
• New organizations must include specific geographical boundaries and limits for eligibility in their petition to ensure fair and equitable competition
• New organizations will be required to present to the Board or Representatives for review, financial statements, proof of proper tax identification and program recruitment methodology (if) so deemed necessary by the Board of Representatives

• New member acceptance is contingent on a 2/3 majority vote of current members in good standing
