Our tball program is coed and is for ages 5 and 6. Kids either need to CURRENTLY be in kindergarten, or entering kindergarten in August or 2026.

The child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025.

Teams will be co-ed.

This program is broken into year 1 (for 5yr olds) and year 2 (for 6yr olds). This allows coaches to break down and teach more age and developmentally appropriate skills to each kiddo to better prepare them for moving on to the next level of play. At this level of the sport, children are taught the basics of baseball/softball, including, but not limited to: proper throwing and catching techniques, running the bases, and hitting off of the tee, so they can learn proper batting techniques before attempting to hit a pitched ball.

Practice dates and times will be determined by the coaches, and will begin around April 27th.

Games will be played in St. George and Westmoreland on the following dates:

Saturday, May 30th

Friday, June 5th OR Friday, June 12th

We will hold our SUPER SATURDAY for the kids last games on June 20th. Please mark your calendars for this date and special event! They'll also get medals. :)

All registrants will be entered into a team draft, which will be done by coaches, after the registration deadline, to form teams.

The RCR Summer Baseball program is for boys ages 7 to 14 years old, and currently in grades 1st-8th.

All baseball teams will be a part of the Big 6 League and will be separated into divisions by ages as follows:

Coach pitch for 7 to 8 year olds (cannot be over 8 years old as of May 1st, 2026) 1st -2nd grades

Kid pitch for 9 to 11 year olds (cannot be over 11 years old as of May 1st, 2026) 3rd-5th grades

Kid pitch for 12 to 14 year olds (cannot be over 14 years old as of May 1st, 2026) 6th-8th grades

Practice dates and times will be determined by the coaches of each team, and begin around April 6th.

Games will begin approximately May 4th, and end no later than July 2nd. Baseball teams generally play on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday evenings, with two game nights per week. Games will be played in St. George, Westmoreland, Riley, Leonardville, Randolph, and Manhattan.
