What Blue Sox Baseball will provide and general information ·
        
* ages 8-12 ·        
* we will use the USA Baseball age determination date, the cutoff date is September 1st ·        
* our travel schedule will not conflict with the local Little League schedule ·        
* our season will begin in September and last into June        
* we will compete in at least (10) travel baseball tournaments which will include a travel baseball state tournament and Cooperstown for the 12’s
* tryouts will be held in July, the weekend after the LL 11&12 Majors state tournament
       Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd – times tbd        
* fundraisers to offset costs will be available for each of our teams
* fee includes insurance, tournament fees, facility fees and uniforms (two jerseys, hat, baseball pants, helmet, belt, stirrups, two practice shirts)        
* besides the travel baseball state tournament and Cooperstown for the 12’s, all tournaments we attend will be in the New Orleans metropolitan area         
* we encourage our players to participate in other sports and we will work with each of their individual schedules         
* there is an initial signup fee of $500 and $145 a month between September and June
