High School: Two-time varsity lacrosse captain … amassed 36 career goals and 46 career assists in lacrosse … played two years of varsity soccer … two-time Honor Roll honoree … three-time High Honor Roll selection. Sammy was the first Division 1 lacrosse player out of Pelham Memorial High School, where she committed to play at the University of Massachusetts. Coaching Experience: Sammy started coaching her freshmen year of high school and has coached multiple ages ranging from 4 years old to High school. Unfortunately due to many concussions Sammy is no longer eligible to play, however that has not stopped her from being involved in the game of lacrosse. Sammy has a ton of experience coaching and is currently is the lead instructor for lacrosse at Chelsea Piers in CT, assistant coach for multiple teams in the Pelham youth lacrosse association, Current head coach of the New Canaan 7th grade Ram B team, and the assistant coach for Riverdale Country Day School.

High School: Played six years of varsity lacrosse at Eastchester High School…First lacrosse player in Eastchester history to record 200 goals and 300 points, as well as the first (male or female) to earn a Division I scholarship…A two-time team MVP and three-time team captain…Earned New York State Section 1 All-Section honors following both her junior and senior campaigns…Also named all-league five straight times…Chosen as a scholar athlete every year from 2011-15…Received the Karissa Kumpan Scholarship, which goes to an outstanding female student-athlete, from the Eastchester Sports Club.

High School: Started for four years in lacrosse and three years in soccer…was an All-League selection in lacrosse three times and an All-Section Honorable mention and captain in 2017…served as team captain and gained an All-League selection in soccer in 2017…winner of the Excellence in English Award, the Symmetry Physical Therapy Scholar-Athlete Award, the National Spanish Exam Silver and Bronze Medals, the Stockholm Junior Water Prize and was named the Rotary Scholar of the Month…participated in the National, Science, Math and Spanish Honor Societies… did water quality sampling with Save the Sound, Inc. from 2015-17…participated in the Math Team, the Environmental Science Club and the Women’s Empowerment Club…
