About Saline County Soccer Academy

Saline County Soccer Academy is the competitive team partnered with the Marshall Soccer League. The Academy is designed to give all children, boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 14, the opportunity to participate in a travel soccer program. The Academy allows them the opportunity to receive elite training by certified trainers and coaches. SCSA is sanctioned by Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA). The Academy is committed to providing opportunities for positive soccer experiences by instilling core values of safety, fun, discipline, teamwork, integrity, and the respect of self and others. Meet The Coaches

Ramone Powell
Director

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Powell earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Missouri Valley College. He completed his master’s degree in Education Administration in May 2009 from Lindenwood University. Now coaches at Missouri Valley College and has been involved with multiple facets of youth sports.

Stephanie Campbell
Executive Director

A lifetime resident from saline county and an abundance of experience working with youth in the community for over ten years. She now coaches and help manage a few different sports in the Saline County area.

Carlos Juan
Coach
Marshall resident and has been coaching youth soccer for 10 plus years. He is very knowledgeable on the travel circuit and understands the full game of soccer.

Edwin Bridges
Coach

A native of Marshall, Missouri, Bridges teaches Social Studies and coaches both soccer programs at Marshall High School. Has a ton of experience and has been involved with soccer all his life.

What's Available?

Open training for ages 5-14.
Participation in Boonville Mid-Missouri Micro League.
Participation in Show-Me-State Games.
Opportunities for 3v3, 4v4 7v7 and 9v9 tournaments.
Possible friendly matches between surrounding area teams.
Community involvement.
Opportunity to make lifelong friendships.
Opportunity to play in Missouri Youth Soccer Association Events.

Ranger Expectations

Early arrival for practices and games.
Have a positive attitude and work ethic.
Proper care of uniforms, equipment, and other issued equipment.
Follow the Code of Conduct.
Completion of registration and dues.
Have shin guards and cleats at all practices.
Participation in fundraisers.
