The purpose of PALS is to serve the children of our community, aged 14 and younger, by offering various organized sports leagues, which provides an important opportunity for each child to participate in the American tradition of youth sports that encompasses installing the sense of teamwork, the excitement of victory and the character building exercise of facing defeat with dignity. The objective of PALS shall be to firmly implant in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. To achieve this objective PALS will provide supervised programs under the Rules and Regulations of various franchised leagues which we may partner with or obtain membership in. PALS, although competitively structured, will not put more emphasis on winning than on sportsmanship and player/team development, nor will we partner with or obtain membership in any organization that does.
