Fall Ball 2024

Fall Ball at Imperial Beach Little League. August into November. Instruction focused player development.

DIVISION AGES: Refer to Little League Age Chart 2024 for Reference

Tee Ball - League Ages 4 -7
CAPS - League Ages 5 - 8 - (Sling Shot Machine Pitch at 42') - 1 yr. previous Tee Ball Recommended and can be 8 yr. with limited baseball experience
Minor B - League Ages 6 - 10 - (Player Pitch 42' distance) - One Season of CAPS recommended and can be 10 yr. with limited baseball experience
Minor A - League Age - 7 - 11 - (Player Pitch 46' Distance)
Majors - League Ages - 9 - 12 - All 12 yr. old's must play Majors - 9 Yr. old's may not have parent as Manager
Juniors - League Ages - 12 - 14 - Play is on Mar Vista Senior High School Fields
Seniors - League Ages - 13 - 16 - JUST ADDED! Play Interleague with District 42 at Mar Vista and around the County

Registration Fees:

Tee Ball: $75.00
CAPS: $75.00

*Discount*: No early bird discount and no sibling discount will be available for Fall Ball Season

*Refunds*: No Refunds will be given after a child has been assigned a team and played in any game. Exceptions will be made for players injured during Little League sanctioned practice before season starts and will miss the entire season.

Uniforms:

All players will be provided jerseys and hats. Fall Ball will be a "Rainbow Season". All colorways and styles in stock will be available and players can choose their own no matter the team they're assigned!

Season:

Registration - June 15, 2024 - August 18, 2024
Practices - Begin the beginning of August
Games - Begin end of August
Ending- November 8, 2024

Game Days:

Tee Ball - Majors - Game Days will be on weekdays ONLY. No weekend games will be scheduled. Gamedays will be dependent on total registration and team count. Practices may be potentially scheduled on weekends at the managers decision.
Juniors - Due to fields availability and lights, Juniors division will have games on Sundays, and schedule and light permitting, potentially weekdays.

Interleague Play:

It is the goal of IBLL to play all games in house and at our local fields. This will depend solely on the registration and team count. If interleague play is necessary, we will continue to schedule games as noted above.

Tryouts:

No tryouts or assessment session will be held for the Fall Ball season. Teams will be assigned by the league Player Agent and President with approval from the Board of Directors.

Residency and Document Collection:

It is REQUIRED that all players have a completed Medical Release on-site in the team manager possession at all practices and games. It will be the managers responsibility to have the forms filled out by the players parent/guardian.
Only players who go to school or reside within our boundaries are eligible to play in our programs. The exception is if your usual league doesn't offer a Fall baseball program.
Please note that in order to play in our programs, players must either live or go to school within our league boundaries. (This is a Little League rule.) See little league boundary map on our web page.

Volunteers:

Managers and Coaches - Please complete the volunteer forms on the site. We are a 100% volunteer run League and need your help! If you're interested at all please contact [email protected]
Team Parent - Notify your manager
Snack Bar - IBLL is 100% volunteer and Certified Non-Profit. Please let us know if your willing and able to assist in snack bar shifts. A large portion of our revenue to maintain the league and the fields comes from the snack bar and we need your help!

Umpires:

IBLL is hoping to become fully volunteer umpire by Spring 2025. Fall Ball is a great to come out and learn the game and get real experience umpiring in a non-competitive environment. Our very own Umpire-In-Chief will hold training days and we provide all the tools and safety equipment.
