Spring- 2024

DIVISION AGES:

T-Ball - ages 4-7

CAPS ages 5-8 (Sling Shot Machine Pitch, 1 yr. previous T-ball and can be 8 yr. with no baseball experience)

Minor B (Player Pitch 40 ft distance) - ages 6-10 (Must have 1 yr. of CAPS and can be 10 yr. with no baseball experience)

Minor A (Player Pitch) - ages 8-11 (can be 11 yr. with no baseball experience or safety concern)

Majors - ages 10-12

Juniors- ages 13-14

Seniors - ages 14-16 **Season starts after high baseball season**

REGISTRATION FEES:

First Early Bird Special: All payments MUST be made by November 30th to take advantage of this savings.

*REFUND POLICY*

No Refunds will be given after a child has attended assessments and rostered onto a team. Exceptions will be made for players injured during Little League sanctioned practice before season starts and will miss the entire season.

TRYOUTS:

Players ages 6-13 MUST participate in player assessment if registering to play in any division higher that T-Ball, which will be held at the majors fields on the following date.

*11-12-year-old player who don’t attend assessments will be drafted via a blind random draw*

After registering, you must have your residency and original birth certificate verified by bringing copies of the correct documents to the Imperial Beach Little League Minor Booth. This can be done during the following days/times:

Wednesday, November 15th 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday, November 21st 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Tuesday, November 28th 5:00 PM –7:00 PM

Saturday, December 9th 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Wednesday, January 10th 5:00 PM –7:00 PM

Monday, January 15th 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Wednesday, January 17th 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Friday, January 19th 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Your child will NOT be able to participate in assessment or be placed on a team if these documents are not received by January 19th, 2024. Paperwork WILL NOT be accepted the day of tryouts.

Residency Shall be Established and Supported by: Documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or court-appointed guardian(s) name, street address, city, state, and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year, from ONE or more documents from EACH of the three groups outlined below:

Group 1: CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

· Driver’s license

· School records

· Vehicle records (e.g. registration, lease, etc.)

· Employment records

· Insurance documents

Group 2: CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

· Welfare/child care records

· Federal records (e.g. federal tax, social security, etc.)

· State records

· Local (municipal) records

· Support payment records

· Homeowner or tenant records

· Military records

Group 3: CHOOSE AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

· Voter’s registration

· Utility bills (e.g. gas, electric, phone, heating, etc.)

· Financial records (loan, credit, investments, etc.)

· Medical records

· Internet, cable, or satellite records

Note 1: Three documents from the same group constitute only ONE document. Note 2: Certain documents may be used in different Groups, but will count for only one Group per child. Example – If a water/sewer bill is used to satisfy Group II as a municipal record, that same bill CANNOT be used as a utility bill to satisfy Group III.

T-Ball: 09/1/2016 – 08/31/2020

CAPS: 09/1/2015 – 08/31/2019 (CAPS Sling Shot Machine Pitch must have 1 yr of T-ball)

Minor B: 09/1/2013 – 08/31/2018 (Must have 1 yr of CAPS)

Minor A: 09/1/2012 – 08/31/2016

Majors: 09/1/2011 – 08/31/2014

Juniors: 09/1/2009 – 08/31/2011

Seniors: 09/1/2007 – 08/31/2010

*Registration Reimbursement opportunities*

· Volunteer umpires: If you volunteer to umpire at least 6 games behind the plate, you will be refunded 1 registration fee in the amount of the 1^st child’s registration fee. Reimbursement will be paid at the end of the season. Will be required to attend all training provided by the league.

· Concession assistants: If you volunteer to work 1 snack bar shift a week, including post season games, you will be refunded 1 registration fee in the amount of the 1^st child’s registration fee. Reimbursement will be paid at the end of the season. We need 4 volunteers.
