FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• Registration will run February 1st - March 15th with a firm cutoff date.

• Registration is done on our website at clearforkyouthleague.com.

• You must live within the Clear Fork School District to play in our league or be currently open enrolling to Clear Fork.

• Our current player fees are set at baseball and softball $70; tee ball is $40. 

• Tee ball is for children who are 5 or 6 as of May 1st. However, we will allow children who are 4.5 years old as of May 1st to play as long as the parent or guardian is confident that they can pay attention, learn the game and have fun while not being a distraction to other players.  We also encourage the parent or guardian of these younger children to volunteer to help with the team.

• We encourage children to play tee ball. This is a great opportunity for them to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game. If your child is newly interested in baseball or softball and is too old to play tee ball we would still love to have them. It is never too late to start!

• Please use the following to determine the correct division for your child.

Baseball and Tee ball - use the age your child will be on May 1st.

Tee ball - Ages 5 & 6

8U Baseball - Ages 7 & 8
10U Baseball - Ages 9 & 10
12U Baseball - Ages 11 & 12

Softball 
8U Softball - 2016 & 2017 birthdates
10U Softball - 2014 & 2015 birthdates
12U Softball - 2012 & 2013 birthdates

• We have very generous companies and individuals who have donated to our scholarship fund. This is available to help with registration costs for those who need it. We also have donated equipment and cleats, if either of this would be of benefit to you please email [email protected]. All assistance requests are kept confidential.

• Practice day and time is set by each coach; therefore, we do not have information as to when your child would be practicing until teams are drafted. Games are not on set days, as soon as we receive game schedules, we will immediately send them to our coaches.

• Both our baseball and softball programs play in the MOC league. This includes Ontario, Madison, Mansfield, Lucas, and Lexington. Our tee ball teams will only play other Clear Fork teams.
