Registration for the 25-26 Basketball Season will open on Sunday 9/7 and close on 10/4!  
     Please Note the following:  4th -8th Grade Competitive Basketball for Boys and Girls will begin with Practices in November and Games will begin in December.  Practices are usually twice a week and teams play a 10 to 12 game season.   Games are on both Saturday's and Sunday. The schedule is created by CYO basketball and not controlled by Holy Cross. Games are played against other Parishes in Orange and Ulster Counties.         Playoffs begin at the end of February, usually over President's Day weekend and carry into March.  Our program is intended for resident members of Holy Cross Parish. We do have a limited amount of roster spots for non catholic-resident members that require league approval.       We offer a Skills Development program for grades 1st through 3rd grade. These will begin in January and take place on Saturday Mornings in the gym.  
     This is a Catholic Youth Program. All participants in the program, including players, coaches, parents and spectators are expected to follow the CYO Code of Conduct. The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), through the vehicle of sports, provides youth with an opportunity to practice Christian attitudes and responsibilities and to become friends with other children throughout their dioceses. CYO activities should be examples of the meaning of Christian sportsmanship. The guiding principle behind the enforcement of this code is that the behavior of everyone involved in CYO should not detract from the children’s enjoyment of the sport.
