Boys and Girls Spring 2020 Registration is now OPEN!

Guilderland Youth Lacrosse offers a recreational spring lacrosse program for boys and girls and in grades K - 6. Visit the REGISTRATION INFO tab to register.

GYL Spring Program Fees
Kindergarten $35 + US Lacrosse Membership and volunteer fee
Grades 1 - 2 $75 + US Lacrosse Membership and volunteer fee
Grades 3 - 6 $150 + US Lacrosse Membership and volunteer fee
Late registration fee after March 15 $25

Volunteer Fee
GYL is a volunteer-powered organization and requires participation from all parents. A $50 volunteer fee will be added to the program fee at registration. Parents can either volunteer or choose to pay the fee to not volunteer. Once a parent volunteers, $50 will be refunded.

US Lacrosse membership number is required for registration. Membership is good for one year and cost is $30. To purchase a US Lacrosse Membership, visit

Required Equipment
Girls
Mouth guard, goggles, stick. Girls helmet recommended.

Boys
Kindergarten - mouth guard, goggles, protective cup, stick
Grades 1 - 6 - helmet, mouth guard, pads (chest and elbow), gloves, protective cup, stick. Boys in Grades 3+ must purchase their own helmet. Helmet should be red.

Rental equipment is available on a limited, first come first served basis. Preference is given to younger or new players. Available equipment includes helmets, chest and elbow pads, and gloves. Rental equipment requires a deposit of $200, which is completely refunded once equipment is returned and inspected.

Practices on lower fields at DiCaprio Park
4/1 (pending opening of park) to 6/30 (potential tournaments until mid July)
Monday and Wednesday nights
6:30 to 7:30 pm for Grades K - 2
6:30 to 8:00 pm for Grades 3 - 6

Games/Tournaments
Kindergarten will practice stick skills and drills, no weekend games.

Grades 1 - 2 will have approximately 3 weekend games/tournaments throughout the season.

Grades 3 - 6 will have games/tournaments typically on Saturdays.
