HVCC SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
HVCC Sports has a limited number of scholarships each sport. Scholarships are donated by private citizens or local businesses. We focus on providing scholarships as the benefit of playing sports has great impact on our youth. Scholarships are generally a first come, first serve basis. There are a few guidelines that must be followed.
Scholarships cover the cost of the program, not any additional fees, which may or may not include equipment, shirts, or tournaments.
Scholarships must be received prior to the deadline, approval will be issued within 24 hours and a code must be given in order to register online.
Scholarships are awarded for one registrant, per sport, and the athlete must reapply for each sport.
Only one schlarship per family, per sport is awarded.
No guarantee of scholarship is implied.
Commitment must be made by parents and athletes that at least 80% of all games and practices must be made, or athlete will forfeit the right to any additional scholarship for a year.
Requests from DSS, non-parental guardians, and school staff will be considered prior to any other scholarship applicants.
HVCC Sports does not discriminate based on gender, race, class, economic status, ethnic background, sexual orientation, physical ability, or cultural and religious backgrounds.
Confidentiality will always be maintained. Only HVCC Sports personnel will know who scholarship recipients are.
***Please note: Approval of a scholarship does not register the participant in the activity. You must still register the athlete in the sport desired.
