Addisyn Mullen
Assistant Basketball Coach
Basketball has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing in the YMCA at a young age, fell in love with the game, and played every year since then, all the way through my first year of college.
I graduated high school in 2014. I was home schooled during high school, and participated in a concurrent enrollment program where I took classes at Front Range Community College. Throughout high school, I played basketball for the Denver Eagles, who played in the Front Range Christian Athletic Association. As a point guard, I was a four- year varsity starter and letterwoman, and received numerous All- Conference, All Tournament, and MVP awards. During my time with the Eagles, we won the FRCAA state championship four years in a row. In addition to the Eagles, I also played club basketball for the Colorado Rush - now known as Colorado Prospects Academy.
After high school, I attended college at Colorado Christian University. I graduated in 2017, a full year early, with a BS in Business Administration and a BA in Psychology. I also played basketball my first year of college, and then after multiple sports injuries and surgeries, made the decision to step away from playing at the collegiate level.
I have been coaching on and off for the last few years. During college, I was the assistant coach for the Denver Eagles Women’s Varsity where we went on to win the state championship two more years in a row. I have also coached 13U club basketball for Colorado Prospects Academy. I really enjoy teaching the game I love, and getting to be a positive influence in young women’s lives. I look forward to doing the same at Riverdale Ridge!
