2025 7V7 Junior High School Summer League

Thank you for your interest in BSC's 7v7 Summer Junior High School League. This league is for players rising into grades 6th - 8th in the 2025-2026 school year. Players will register individually and indicate their school during the registration process. Coaches will provide BSC with the school's rosters for team placement.

Boys will play on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Girls will play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Start: June 9th
Finish: July 24th
Price: $50 a player

Game Format:
  • 7v7 (including goalkeepers)
  • U12 field
  • 25 min half
  • 1 ref
  • Only call ‘obvious’ offside 
  • No punts
  • Fifa rules substitutions (unlimited and both teams can sub on any stoppage)
  • No mercy rule
  • Team is allowed to start with 5 players minimum (up to opposition if they want to play down)
  • Min roster of 9. Max roster of 14

Recreation Registration 2025-2026

This registration league is open to both boy and girl players born in years 2007 - 2021 who would like to play soccer with Bayou Soccer Club this Fall and/or Spring season (Fall - mid Aug. - Nov. 1/2.; Spring late Feb. -May 3) and is also open to volunteer coaches and team managers. 

Before beginning registration, please read everything on this page. 

All players must wear shin guards and cleats. All players should bring a soccer ball and water to all soccer practices and games. (size 3 ball 5U-8U; size 4 ball 9U-12U; size 5 ball 13U and above)

All teams within the recreational league are coached by volunteer coaches. All coaches set their own practice schedule. BSC recommends two practices per week. For players born 2020-2021, BSC recommends that practices last no longer than 45 minutes. For players born 2019-2018, BSC recommends practices of one hour/practice. For players born 2007-2015, practices can run from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour.

For teams in the 5U/6U and 7U/8U divisions (players born 2018-2021), BSC makes a schedule for the season. All games will be scheduled at either the Lakes, Bayou Country Sports Park or the Southland Mall Complex. The majority of all games are scheduled for Saturday mornings.

For teams in the  9U/10U division (2015-2016), BSC will provide a game schedule against BSC teams and will try to also schedule games against teams from Thibodaux, Lafourche and St. Charles. All home games will be played at either the Lakes, Bayou Country Sports Park, or the Southland Mall Complex. 

The majority of all games are scheduled for Saturday mornings.

The goal is to have 8 games per team per season.

For teams in the 11U and older divisions (2007-2015), teams can schedule friendly matches on their own. BSC will provide a contact list of coaches for teams from the surrounding areas. 

BSC needs coaches for teams to be formed. Please consider volunteering to coach a team. You will be able to select this during the registration process. All volunteer coaches will receive a refund of their player's registration fees, all volunteer coaches will have access to the online coaching resource (The Coaching Manual) In addition, all volunteer coaches can request help from one of our staff coaches with their training sessions by contacting Holly Moran at [email protected].

BSC utilizes Blue Sombrero for all registrations. If you already have a Blue Sombrero account, you can log in with that information. If not, you will need to create a new account. The parent/guardian will be the name on the account and you will then add your children as the participants.
RETURNING PLAYERS - IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN YOUR PLAYER'S PLAYING HISTORY - DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT - PLEASE CONTINUE TO USE YOUR PRE-EXISTING ACCOUNTS

If you are registering more than one child in your family, please make sure to set up your account with the parent/guardian as the account holder and enter all of your children as the participants. You will not be eligible for family discounts if you do not set up your account this way. This will also allow the player's parents/guardians to manage all of their children with only one username and password.

Members order uniforms online through Third Coast Soccer. We hope to plan a pop-up shop day for uniform ordering in addition to the online ordering. More specific information will be emailed to all members once finalized.


BSC offers registration for Fall & Spring seasons at one time. If you would like to register for both seasons, add both to your order.

Registration Fee: $160 (Fall and Spring); $85 (Fall or Spring only season)
