West Downey Little League would like to thank New York Life for their continued support of our local baseball program. As an Insurance Company they have local ties throughout our community and thru the New York Life Foundation their agents have been giving back locally thru their donations of time and efforts. Downey Resident and New York Life agent Hector Sosa has been donating his time along with other members on his team supporting WDLL. These efforts have been instrumental in helping our league as we have been operating at a temporary location over the past two years. Their time and efforts along with monetary donations from the New York Life Foundation are greatly appreciated in helping West Downey Little League support our community.

About West Downey Little League

Serving the City of Downey, CA since 1957.
We are 100% Volunteer League - operated with the love of baseball and giving back to our community. Many members of the board as well as league played here when they were kids and now give back. We are a league that is focused on teaching the fundamentals of baseball in an encouraging environment.
We believe that all kids should have the opportunity to play baseball and offer many levels of play.

T-Ball (ages 4-5)
Minor C (Coach Pitch)
Minor A & B (ages 7-11)
Majors (ages 10-12)
Juniors (ages 13-14)
Challenger Division (players with special needs)

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 and gladly accept donations to help keep our registration costs low. We also accept sponsorships to help offset costs.

West Downey Little League is temporarily located at Sussman Middle School - 12500 Birchdale Ave Downey, CA 90242.
Our permanent location is at Stauffer Middle School but due to school construction we have be relocated for the season. We will update our return HOME on our website as well as Social Media Channels. We can be contacted directly at [email protected]
