Foothills Volleyball Club

FVC General Information

About Us:

Our club was formed in 2012 out of a desire to offer a quality volleyball club program to volleyball enthusiasts in the upstate corner of South Carolina. We are a christian family, that loves God and loves volleyball. It was our goal in our first year, to put together 1 team or any number of teams for girls that wanted to play volleyball. We were confident that we could make it work with however many athletes that made their way to our club. We wanted a closer place to practice for our own children, without having to travel over an hour for practice. We wanted to offer a club that was reasonably priced with quality instruction for our athletes. Also, knowing that club volleyball is a financial commitment as well as time commitment, we tried very hard to keep our costs down with the level of instruction high.

Rewards & Benefits of Playing Club:

Not only do athletes get to learn and play the sport of volleyball, but our athletes are challenged in practice and during tournament play to rise to the next level. This was evident in our athletes from the first year as they tried out and made their respective school JV and Varsity teams. We heard from many area coaches that they could see a tremendous difference in the quality and level of play that their players had who had played club this past year. What a testimony to our coaches and athletes for all of their hard work.

Our Mission:

It is our mission to provide quality instruction from experienced coaches that will teach the fundamentals of volleyball with discipline, hard work and enthusiasm. It is our desire that athletes complete the club season learning more about volleyball than when they started, that they have fun, learn discipline and excellence on and off the court. God has given us gift and talents to play and/or coach the game of volleyball. We have high expectations that our athletes and coaches maintain the highest level of sportsmanship to fellow teammates, coaches, officials and opponents. Instilling a passion and desire to learn to play the game, celebrating the victories and learning from the losses.

TEAMWORK, FUNDAMENTALS, ENTHUSIASM:

We strive to instill these characteristics in the athletes in our program. We commit to you to do our very best to ensure that your club season is challenging for your athlete, from tryouts to tournament play, you are family and it is our job to give you what your are paying for and more.
