Get ready for an exciting weekend of soccer, skill-building, and community spirit!
Palmerton High School Soccer is proud to host a dynamic two-day training camp for Towamensing Soccer Club on March 28–29, 2026. This special event serves as a fundraiser for the Palmerton High School soccer program while giving young athletes the perfect opportunity to sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming spring season.
The camp will be overseen by PASD high school coaches and assistants, alongside members of our dedicated high school boys’ and girls’ soccer teams. Participants will also hear firsthand what it means to represent Palmerton at the high school level—building inspiration, pride, and a sense of community.
Additionally we have Matt Baker, founder of Perfect Touch Sports, LLC, as a featured guest speaker to end the camp. Matt played Division I soccer at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a four-year standout, team captain, and recipient of the prestigious “Male Scholar Athlete of the Year” award. He earned one of just sixteen spots on the Big East Male Scholar Athlete Team. Matt went on to play professionally with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, competed internationally in Brazil’s second division with Cardosa Morriera, and later played for the Philadelphia Union II. Following an ACL injury in 2013, Matt turned his focus to developing athletes through elite training programs across the Lehigh Valley and beyond. Camp participants will gain valuable insight and inspiration from Matt’s journey through collegiate, professional soccer and beyond.
Throughout the weekend, TSC will host a 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle and concessions.
