Shall work closely with the Director of Club Quality and Director of Volunteering to ensure the
mission statement of the Towamensing Soccer Club is being attained
Vice-President
Shall assume the responsibilities of the President in the event of the absence or resignation of the President
Shall, at the request of the President, take responsibility for the organizing and executing of club activities as deemed necessary by the President
Shall be responsible for coordinating with other local clubs with regard to game schedules
Shall be responsible for coordinating referees for home games
Shall work closely with the Groundskeeper and Equipment Director and the Director of Club Quality to ensure the mission statement of Towamensing Soccer Club is attained
Treasurer
Shall have the charge of the finances of the Towamensing Soccer Club
Shall receive all monies and securities; and deposit such funds in a depository approved by the Board of Directors
Shall keep records for the receipt and disbursement of all monies and securities of the Towamensing Soccer Club
Shall approve all payments from allotted funds and will be required to sign all checks drawn on club accounts
Shall prepare an annual budget, under the direction of the President, for submission to the Board of Directors
Shall attend all player registration days to ensure accurate collection of all registration fees, fundraiser buyouts, and work bond checks
Shall oversee the obtainment of team, field, bench, and league sponsors each season
Shall oversee the sale of spirit wear
Shall work closely with the Director of Fundraising/Activities, Director of Concessions, and the Director of Volunteering to ensure the mission statement of the Towamensing Soccer Club is being attained
Duties of Directors:
The Directors, along with the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer are the governing body of the soccer club.
Directors will be appointed by the officers of TSC for the purpose of handling specific operations of the soccer club (ie-fundraising, sponsorship, concessions)
All Directors should be certified to coach and be prepared to coach a team in the event of a coaches’ absence or resignation.
No appointed Director shall hold more than one (1) office of the club at any one time.
At no time should a Director sit on the Board of, or coach with, any other soccer club while in office.
Director of Fundraising/Activities:
Purpose-The Director of Fundraising/Activities will be in charge of improving the welfare of the club by coordinating yearly and seasonal fundraisers and social events.
Duties-Duties include but are not limited to, creating a fundraising plan, recommend price points, and show profit opportunities. The Director will create a yearly fundraising plan with the Director of Concessions and the club Treasurer. The Director is also responsible for coordinating events with, but not limited to, the LV Iron Pigs, Bethlehem Steel, Lehigh Valley Phantom, and/or the Philadelphia Union.

May appoint up to one committee member. Committee will consist of these members with this Director presiding, and the Treasurer to oversee the committee’s governance abides by TSC’s mission statement and By-Laws.

Director of Concessions
Purpose-The Director of Concessions will be in charge of improving the welfare of the club by maintaining a concession stand for the spring and fall season at one or both sites, coordinating the fall festival stand, and any other items to help the club raise money.
Duties-Duties include but are not limited to, creating a fundraising plan, recommend price points, and show profit opportunities. The Director will create a yearly fundraising plan with the Director of Fundraising/Activities and the club Treasurer. The Director will coordinate and schedule concessions for the spring and fall seasons as well as the festival, gather and requisition supplies, and gather volunteers to support tasks.

Director of Technology & Communications
Purpose-The Director of Technology & Communications is the central line of communication between the club’s technology and the public.
Duties-The Director of Technology is in charge of uploading registration into the website, maintaining the security of its technology, finding ways to simplify its use and design, present Facebook statistics as needed and updating the information on both sites regularly. The Director of Technology & Communications will also send electronic correspondence to the TSC families and coaches as needed through the website and Facebook. The Director will also be responsible for creating banners, signs, and other sponsor-purchased items.

Groundskeeper & Equipment Manager
Purpose – The Groundskeeper and Equipment Manager is in charge of the fields, all structures,
and all the equipment herein. They evaluate the status of the fields. They assess the need for
equipment and evaluating the status of the fields.
Duties – Duties include determining ways to manage the fields including nets, line paint, and
grass cutting. Additional duties include determining the quality of the equipment and estimate a
budget on what will needs replacing, updating, or repair. Will make recommendations on the
brand of equipment. The Groundskeeper and Equipment Manager coordinates with the league
when to begin set up and when to break down. He/she is also responsible for the providing,
tracking, and reporting on the timely returning of equipment and league property. The
Groundskeeper and Equipment Manager will write RFPs and make recommendations on grass
cutting business, relief facilities, line paint, goals, nets, and player equipment. It is
recommended that good communication exists between the Groundskeeper and Equipment
Manager, the Director of Volunteering, and the club Vice-President. The Groundskeeper and
Equipment Manager should attend the monthly township recreation board meeting.

Director of Volunteering
Purpose – The Director of Volunteering is responsible for maintaining the volunteering records
per season, collecting and returning work bond checks, recording concession stand donations or
time, field set-up or break down, line painting duties, and linesperson duties.
Duties – Duties include the scheduling of volunteer sign-ups for concession stands, field set-up
and break down, line painting, and linesperson for U9 games and above. The Director will work
closely with Team Managers, Director of Technology & Communications, Director of
Fundraising & Events, Director of Concessions, club Secretary, and club Treasurer to ensure
family responsibilities are being fulfilled each season. This may include tracking down
individuals to ensure completeness.

May appoint up to two committee members with the recommendation that committee members
are spread between both fields. Committee will consist of these members with this Director
presiding and the Secretary to oversee the committee’s governance abides by TSC’s mission
statement and By-Laws.

Director of Club Quality
Purpose – The Director of Quality is in charge ensuring the club follows its Mission Statement
as well to make sure individuals within the league are maintaining all compliance.
Duties – Director of Club Quality will ensure that TSC and CCC tournaments are adequately
staffed properly. They organize the Round Robin format of both the TSC and CCC tournaments
and work with the Groundskeeper, Director of Concessions, Director of Volunteering, and club
President to ensure all needs are met. In addition, they will serve as liaison to control the
tournament, which said it is recommend a non-coach be in this position. For as long as TSC
hosts the CCC at Beltzville, the Director of Club Quality will ensure that all TSC related needs
are met.
The Director will also be responsible to ensure that all people involved with the involvement in
the club whether it would be a coach, board, team manager or any other TSC staff are compliant
with federal and EPYSA rules. They will ensure each member is compliant their required duties
as per the club’s needs including coach training, youth protection, and required attendances
during set up, breakdown, and monthly board meetings.
The position will also serve the club as the EPYSA Safety Officer which ensures all board
members, head coaches, assistant coaches, and team managers are compliant as well as our
players have safe practices and games. This is directly connected to weather conditions, field
conditions, and player equipment. The Director of Club Quality will also write RFPs for end of
season gifts and tournament medals. They are also responsible for the plaques on the seasonal
trophies.
