Late Score Costs Clyde LL Rangers (Major) Against Clyde LL Rockies

After finishing a postponed game due to lightning, the Clyde LL Rangers (Major Division) lost the lead late in a 15-7 defeat to the Clyde LL Rockies on Saturday. The game was tied at seven with the Rockies batting in the top of the fifth when an error scored one run for the Rockies.

Joaquin Martinez collected four hits in defeat. Martinez singled in the first, singled in the first, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

The Rangers totaled 12 hits in the game. MartinezAhli Session, and Fielder all collected multiple hits for the RangersMartinez went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Rangers in hits. The Rangers tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Session led the way with three.

The Rockies racked up nine hits in the game. Childers and Kyler Berry all managed multiple hits for the Rockies. The Rockies stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Childers led the way with three.
