Clyde LL Ballers (Minor) Can't Catch Up To Albany Indians
Clyde LL Ballers (Minor Division) fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to Albany Indians on Tuesday. Albany Indians took the lead on a home run in the first inning.
Albany Indians fired up the offense in the first inning, when Vaughn homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Vaughn was on the hill for Albany Indians. The ace lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out eight.
Bransyn Dailey started the game for the Clyde Ballers. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on five hits over three and a third innings, striking out four. Jackson Van Pelt threw two-thirds of an inning in relief.
Cash Thornton and Van Pelt each collected one hit to lead Clyde Ballers.
Albany Indians collected six hits on the day. Vaughn and Hudson Cedar all collected multiple hits for Albany Indians. Vaughn went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Albany Indians in hits.
