Please review all information before completing registration for the upcoming season.

🗓️ Preliminary Calendar (Dates subject to change)


Opening Day: April 18

Parade: April 18 or April 25

Spring Break (NB Schools): April 2–10

Memorial Day Weekend: No games scheduled (May 23–25)

Championship Day: June 13

Note: 12U Championship may be held June 6 (depending on 6th-grade graduation schedule)

End of Season: June 20

Last Day of NB Schools: June 26


🌟 Updates for 2026 — Please Review

The 6U Girls Softball Division was a huge success in 2025 and will continue in 2026.

Girls born in 2019: Option to play 7U Baseball or 6U Softball.

Girls born in 2020: Option to play 6U Coach Pitch or 6U Softball.

Note: The league reserves the right to adjust player placement based on evaluations or division size balance.


âšľ Games and Practices

Every player will be assigned to a team.

Each team has one practice and at least one game per week.

Practice days/times are set by the head coach based on their schedule and field availability.

Final schedules are typically set by late March.

If you have a night your child cannot practice, note it in the “Other Requests” section during registration.

Requests may be honored for non-draftable divisions (see below).


Game Information
Games are generally held on Saturdays.

Older divisions begin weeknight games early in the season.

Younger divisions may add weeknight games starting mid-May through June.

All teams will play a minimum of 10 games.

Older divisions (Baseball: 9U–12U, Softball: 10U–12U) include playoff games starting in June.


🧢 Team Formation & Draft Process

Starting with 8U Boys (2nd Grade) and 10U Softball, teams are formed through a draft to maintain balanced competition.
Important:
No friend or coach requests are allowed for:

Baseball: 8U, 9U, 10U, 12U

Softball: 10U, 12U

The draft promotes even talent distribution and helps players meet new friends across all five local elementary schools (Park, Newbridge, Martin, Dinklemeyer, and Saw Mill), building connections before middle school.

Volunteer Opportunities

We’re an all-volunteer league — your involvement makes our program possible!
Volunteers are especially needed in Pre-K and Kindergarten divisions.

Training and equipment are provided.

Head Coaches are needed for 4/5U and 6U divisions.

Every head coach will have an assistant coach to share responsibilities.

🧤 Equipment Requirements

Uniforms (hat, pants, shirt) are provided by the league and distributed at the first practice.

Players must provide:

Youth batting helmet with full cage (no C-flaps)

Glove

USA Baseball–stamped bat (optional; team bats available for 8U and below)

Protective cup (required for male players)

Fielding mask (required for softball)

Chest protector (recommended for all players)

🌎 Travel Baseball & Williamsport Tournament

Players age 7 and up may try out for our travel teams — the Rebels and Lady Rebels.
Tryouts are organized by age and division.

10U and 12U players are eligible for Williamsport Tournament Teams.

2024: 11U Girls & 10U Boys — District Champions

2025: 11U Boys — District & Sectional Champions, advanced to the New York State Tournament
