CONCESSION POLICY

ALL players are required to have an adult volunteer two (2) hours in the concession stand. Shifts are one hour and will be scheduled either the hour before or after your players game. We appreciate your support and willingness to actively contribute to the league!!

Volunteers must be age 18+ or age 14 with a NC Worker's Permit on file at TCDY.

Concession Information

TCDY provides concessions during scheduled home games through the aid and support of player parent/guardian volunteers. Proceeds from concession are used to help cover the expenses associated with running the league. Costs include uniforms, equipment, umpire fees, background checks, insurance, and Dixie Youth fees.

Concessions ease the burden on players/parents with the added responsibility of fundraising projects.


NEW Concession Policy 2020

Beginning fall season 2019, every player is required to have a volunteer works two (2) hours in the concession stand. This policy was tested during Fall Ball and the outcome was far better than the preceding spring season opt-out option. We look forward to continued success this spring (view policy).

If you are unable to help during the week, there are numerous weekend options available!

TCDY BYLAWS state that ALL teams are expected to sign up concession volunteers either before or after MOST scheduled home games. The responsibility is minimal when shared among many league members and not placed on the shoulders of a select few.
